Description

Duration refers to the length a claim has been in payment on the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) benefit system at the end of the reporting quarter. The duration is calculated from the quarter that payment starts (i.e. after the registration and decision process is complete).

Classification

Applicable to: all claimants who have been claiming for the following periods:

    - Up to 3 months

    - 3 months up to 6 months

    - 6 months up to 1 year

    - 1 year and up to 2 years

    - 2 years and up to 5 years

    - 5 years and over

    - Unknown
